Woman’s Hour, a four-piece band originating from the Lakes, entwine carefully layered atmospheric melodies with ethereal vocals, resulting in a natural sound that comes across as almost effortless. Parlour Records will be releasing the next single To The End alongside the Heaven-bound melancholy of Our Love Has No Rhythm, a track already popular across the specialist shows on 6 Music, XFM and Radio 1. Their music reflects not only the mood of their origin – think of any Wordsworth poem, and then ponder the paradox of being upliftingly depressed – but also the dichotomy that exists within their music, which pairs Kraftwerk’s analogue-style electronics with Fleetwood Mac’s fluid song structures.
Woman's Hour are Fiona Jane (vocals), William (guitars), Nick (bass) and Josh (keyboards).
